Great Cummins is a small family-run organic farm in the glorious rolling hills of mid-Devon. About 8 miles west of Exeter it comprises about 40 acres of permanent pasture, some 12 acres of woodland - hardwoods like oak and ash, most of which we planted when we came here some 8 years ago, an acre of (mainly cider) apple trees and an acre of land for growing vegetables including three polytunnels and a greenhouse for propagation. The land is between 300 and 500 feet above sea level and the soil a clay loam.

The farm offers exceptionally comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a large double bedroom with private bathroom, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. There is a second, twin bedded room sharing the same bathroom for families and larger parties. The Bed and Breakfast has easy access to the North and South Devon coasts, to Dartmoor and Exmoor and to visitor attractions like The Eden Project, Clovelly and Bude. It is also a convenient staging post going to or returning from Cornwall.
