About Exmoor..... Exmoor National Park affords panoramic moorland landscapes. The park is one of the smaller National Parks in the UK. This an area of outstanding beauty with stoney headlands, steep tree-lined ravines, cascading waterfalls and heaps of fallen rocks. Inland, the moorland is covered in grass with breathtaking hills steeped in heather. The highest point on Exmoor is Dunkery Beacon. Exmoor is named after its prominent river,
the River Exe. Exmoor is a walkers paradise and also a beautiful area to enjoy a panoramic leisurely drive & picnic.
LUXURY PUB ACCOMMODATION NEAR EXMOOR
The Village Inn B&B - Location: Lynmouth, North Devon. Very high standards with the great atmosphere of a traditional country pub, close to the spectacular Exmoor National Park. We have six luxury en-suite bedrooms which are centrally heated and equipped with remote control colour TV, coffee and tea making facilities, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. Our restaurant and bar areas are comfortably furnished, during the winter months a real log fire burns in the stone fireplace. At the well stocked bar, keg and real ales as well as the usual selection of bottled beers, wines and spirits are available. Our resident chef provides an array of affordable food, including vegetarian dishes and special diet meals by arrangement.
