a break at our family home, a victorian villa in Bishopsteignton would suit you. The house is situated in the middle of the Village, close to our village shops, pubs and restaurant. You'll step from the village street into our walled garden and receive a warm welcome from your hosts. Teign Villa is in the main street of the village and the village car park is opposite our house. As you approach the village you will travel alongside the river & enjoy the estuary view.
Bishopsteignton is situated on the river Teign between the market town of Newton Abbot and Shaldon / Teignmouth at the mouth of the river. The drive from Exeter is approximately 25 minutes. Your accommodation has magnificent views across the village to the River Teign. We have 2 double rooms ‘River View' and ‘Country View'. There is plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. There are facilities in your room for making tea and coffee, perhaps an opportunity for you to sit & enjoy the view. On the same floor is your bathroom, a spacious area with a bath, shower and toilet. Bishopsteignton would be an ideal base from which to visit the moor, beaches and countryside, also for all manner of hobbies from sailing to golf. We are just a few miles away from the picturesque village of Shaldon with its boats and quaint houses. Close too is the market town of Newton Abbot with its easily recognisable clock tower.
Sorry, no smoking in the house. There is no lift to the top floor. Your stay will be relaxed and informal, you are in our home, not a guest house. Your booking includes a full English breakfast.
